Brand Story
Started in 1939, Woo Rice Box is a well-known brand with more than 200 stores in Taiwan. Chihshang Township was a major railway interchange in Taitung where Woo Ricebox first outlet was located. Our founder understood the hardship that the travelers went through and aimed to cater to the need for a comforting meal on the long train journey, hence leading to the emergence of the ricebox.
Today, we have transformed our first outlet to Ricebox Museum to share the history of Taiwanese culture. With ricebox becoming a popular meal option for Taiwanese, we strive to provide an authentic yet satisfying ricebox that warms the heart of all.
Philosophy
With the motto “cooking with heart for busy customers”, Woo’s ingredients are carefully selected. Woo Ricebox promised to ensure that all hearty riceboxes are prepared with care.
